Planning a wedding is exciting, but there are a lot of details to cover. You have your wedding date to set. Then you need to plan on where you will have the ceremony and where you will have the reception. Then you need to compose the guest list. From that guest list, you'll draft your wedding invitations, and perhaps your wedding save the date cards. Another important consideration is the wedding rsvp cards. Unfortunately, many people do not rsvp right away, and some don't do it at all! This is rude, inexcusable behavior, especially when you're planning something as important and as expensive as a wedding, but fortunately there are ways to wrangle wedding rsvp replies out of your guests.
First, make sure to give your invited guests time to reply. Your wedding is the most important thing on your mind right now, but the reality is that it is not the most important thing on the minds of your invited guests. So, plan early for sending out your invites and wedding rsvp. Give guests a chance to check their schedules and then get back to you. By sending your invitations early, you'll give your guests time to reply to you early.
